AC Milan v Juventus

In the most eye-catching game of the Serie A weekend, AC Milan host Juventus at the San Siro on Sunday night.

AC Milan heads into this big clash on the back of a good run of form that has yielded five wins in their last six league outings. Last time out the Rossoneri recorded a 1-0 win at Udinese.

The recent good run of form has seen Milan rise to fourth place in the Serie A table. Although the visitors recent league games have not always been ultra-high scoring, 13 of their last 15 league outings has seen both teams score.

Milan have been in impressive form at the San Siro of late in Serie A, as the home side are unbeaten in seven league games, having recorded six wins. The Rossoneri have also scored at least two goals in their last seven home games in the Italian top-flight.

Juventus have started their Serie A campaign in impressive style, winning ten of their 11 league outings and remaining unbeaten.

The Bianconeri have also been prolific in recent months in Serie A, scoring at least two goals in 11 of their last 12 matches.

The visitor’s recent away form in Serie A has been impressive, as they are unbeaten in 18 matches on their travels, having won their last five league games away from home.

The champions attacking prowess has been a key to those recent away wins, as the Bianconeri have now scored at least two goals in their last five games on their travels.

Team News

Milan have a number of likely absentees through injury for this clash, including Lucas Biglia, Davide Calabria, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ivan Strinic, Giacomo Bonaventura and Mattia Caldara.

For Juventus, Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic is expected to miss out due to injury, while midfielder Emre Can is a doubt due to illness.

Match Prediction

Milan could offer the visitors a challenge to their recent good record. However, I believe the champions will prevail in a high scoring contest.
